Fuchsia plants prefer bright, indirect light or morning sun with afternoon shade. Too much direct sun can scorch the leaves, while too little light may reduce blooming.

Keep the soil moist but not soggy. Water regularly, especially during hot weather. The soil should be damp but well-draining. Avoid letting the plant sit in standing water.

Fuchsias thrive in temperatures between 55–75°F (13–24°C). They don’t tolerate extreme heat well, so provide shade if temperatures rise. These plants also enjoy humid conditions.

Use a balanced liquid fertilizer every 2–4 weeks during the growing season (spring to early fall) to encourage abundant blooms. Reduce feeding in winter.

Regularly pinch back the growing tips to encourage a fuller shape. Remove spent flowers to promote continuous blooming.

Fuchsia plants are sensitive to cold. If grown in a pot, bring them indoors before the first frost and keep them in a cool, bright location.
