Caring for your Wintergreen
- When displayed indoors, Wintergreen does best in bright, indirect light and should be kept moist. This variety adapts well to cool temperatures.
- In the spring, Wintergeen can be planted outdoors in a bright, partially-shaded spot with well-drained, rich soil. It does not like wet feet and will die if its roots are in standing water. If planted in an exposed location, cover it with a thick layer of mulch in winter to protect it.
- Pruning is not required.
