IDEAS FOR ENJOYING YOUR
Living Canvas® Succulents
Succulent spp. Living Canvas®
Enjoy this combination of succulents indoor or outdoor in your favorite container, just be careful to not over water and you will get lasting enjoyment year round. We choose plant varieties that will continue to grow evenly and not overpower one another. Succulent plants add interesting texture and color to a patio table or on a porch rail, and will continue to hold great colour in full to partial sun, while losing vibrancy in the shade.

Caring for your Living Canvas® Succulents
- Full sun to filtered light is best for succulents outdoors and when bringing indoors, find a location where the plants can be rotated into full sunlight to help keep their colored foliage.
- Overwatering is the most common mistake, for this reason, it’s important to use pots with drainage holes. Terra cotta pots are ideal, as they naturally wick away moisture from the soil.
- Consider watering your succulent every other time you water your outside plants. When inside, water less frequently as the plants are not actively growing except in spring.
- Succulents should be potted in a lightweight succulent soil mix to allow for ideal drainage. Create your own succulent soil by adding 25% sand to your potting soil.
- Fertilize at the beginning of spring with a slow release fertilizer.
