Caring for your Verbena Beats™ Red White
- Verbena prefers well-draining (do not allow it to sit in water), slightly acidic soils, and enjoys the sunshine. While Verbena are drought tolerant, they will do better with regular watering, especially container-grown plants.
- Verbena are naturally compact and do not require pruning spent flowers (deadheading) to continue blooming.
- Provide liquid fertilizer for flowers or vegetables (vegetable fertilizer promotes flowers) as directed by the manufacturer.
