IDEAS FOR ENJOYING YOUR

Verbena Beats™ White

Verbena spp. Verbena Beats™ White

Major flower power is what comes to mind when we speak of this new variety of Verbena, known to continuously bloom for 90+ days without pinching (technique to promote blooms).  Naturally compact, this spreading plant tolerates heat, water stress, and powdery mildew which allows for it to keep looking lush and vibrant all season.  These characteristics of Verbena Beats™ make it great for containers to enjoy on your deck, balcony, or include in your garden.

The series comes in 4 solid colors (red, white, purple, and blue) and two bi-colors (red-white and purple-white).

Caring for your Verbena Beats™ White

  • Verbena prefers well-draining (do not allow it to sit in water), slightly acidic soils, and enjoys the sunshine. While Verbena are drought tolerant, they will do better with regular watering, especially container-grown plants.
  • Verbena are naturally compact and do not require pruning spent flowers (deadheading) to continue blooming.
  • Provide liquid fertilizer for flowers or vegetables (vegetable fertilizer promotes flowers) as directed by the manufacturer.
